Not badI adore this writer so I always have high expectations, especially with having to wait for books。 I think I wanted a little more bang for the ending of this trilogy。 I understand she was setting the scene for upcoming books by including the other characters, but for me the way it was written so separately took away from Victor and Dawn's story。 The story picks up with Dawn and Amber trying to get him to let her go。 He agrees to do this if she gives him 3 dates。 I like how the dates went Not badI adore this writer so I always have high expectations, especially with having to wait for books。 I think I wanted a little more bang for the ending of this trilogy。 I understand she was setting the scene for upcoming books by including the other characters, but for me the way it was written so separately took away from Victor and Dawn's story。 The story picks up with Dawn and Amber trying to get him to let her go。 He agrees to do this if she gives him 3 dates。 I like how the dates wents and how afterwards we saw how each were getting along。 I liked that he actually tried to let her go, that was a twist for me。 I just knew he was going to try to find some loophole。 Dawn was put in, danger of course due to Victor。 The situation and the way they both handled it added to the story。The characters showed growth towards the end and it is always nice to see a change for a positive before the "bad guy" gets a happy ending。 。。。more

Beautifully Scarred!!This was my first time reading anything from this author and I must say, I’m hooked on all things Theodora Taylor!! The Victor Trilogy was a Great Series。 Beautifully written, it took me on a journey that was impossible to get off of。 Looking forward to reading and experiencing more of her books and fascinating characters。

Finally!! I loved young teen Victor, I despise the Victor is his 20s and I admired the Victor is his 30s。 And I admired Dawn, she made the best damn lemonade of rotten lemons。 👏 What a rollercoaster ride。 So much waste of time, love and energy! Finally!!It’s one heck of a series and I love it!!

Exciting!Although I thoroughly enjoyed book three, I think it could have been condensed。 A bit of book three was devoted to introducing the reader to future characters or providing a glimpse into what is about to take place in Phantom's and Han's upcoming books。 The plots and the action were very good and kept me riveted to the story。 A very entertaining read。 Exciting!Although I thoroughly enjoyed book three, I think it could have been condensed。 A bit of book three was devoted to introducing the reader to future characters or providing a glimpse into what is about to take place in Phantom's and Han's upcoming books。 The plots and the action were very good and kept me riveted to the story。 A very entertaining read。 。。。more

Wait until book fiveThe first book was the best。 Book two was so so, and the third book had a terrible ending。 I understand introducing new characters and reintroducing older ones, but it was too much even for someone who read all your old books。 I tried to like Dawn, but I never felt more than a shallow liking for her。 Victor was okay, and I felt bad about his early life and how he came by his disability。 All in all, maybe three stars and a wariness about the next book。 If I could have a do ove Wait until book fiveThe first book was the best。 Book two was so so, and the third book had a terrible ending。 I understand introducing new characters and reintroducing older ones, but it was too much even for someone who read all your old books。 I tried to like Dawn, but I never felt more than a shallow liking for her。 Victor was okay, and I felt bad about his early life and how he came by his disability。 All in all, maybe three stars and a wariness about the next book。 If I could have a do over, I would wait until the last book in the series to read them all。 Hopefully, Han and Phantom's books will redeem the series。 。。。more

T done did it again!Where do I even start!! I honestly would love to know Theodora's process because her mind must just be a wonderful place to be in and explore。 These stories she so wonderfully, carefully, and passionately weave together is why she is one of my favorite interracial romance authors of all time。 Truly, she's that phenomenal, and this story, this rollercoaster of a trilogy between Dawn and Victor served as even more proof of this。 Y'all just read the books, read this series, and T done did it again!Where do I even start!! So, so good Theodora Taylor has me on the edge of my seat with Dawn and Victor’s story and that ending didn’t help any。 My mind is already guessing about what happened to Jazz (And it has to be Nora’s brother doing) and who’s Phantom’s fiancé is ( My guess is Olivia Glendaver)。Can’t wait until June to find out what happened。

10 years of punishment and this is the grovel we get? Nah。 Not good enough。 Too much shit happened and Victor completely failed to redeem himself。 And I don't even know what to say about Dawn, she saw easily swayed by his "dates"。 Also chapter 15 - Hindi is a language。 Hindu is a religion。 They aren't Hindi gods, they are Hindu Gods。 This should've been corrected。 10 years of punishment and this is the grovel we get? Love and HEA do not come easy for Dawn and Victor。 They have been put through their paces throughout the entirety of their relationship。 The book picks up where book 2 left off, continuing all the drama, angst, danger, heat and intensity that has made this an entertaining read。 Overall I enjoyed the journey of these dynamic characters。 I just wish that the ending had been more fleshed out, giving me a few more moments with the happy couple。 The transition to the epilogue was somewhat jarring。 Th Love and HEA do not come easy for Dawn and Victor。 They have been put through their paces throughout the entirety of their relationship。 The book picks up where book 2 left off, continuing all the drama, angst, danger, heat and intensity that has made this an entertaining read。 Overall I enjoyed the journey of these dynamic characters。 I just wish that the ending had been more fleshed out, giving me a few more moments with the happy couple。 The transition to the epilogue was somewhat jarring。 Though it did give a glimpse of another exhilarating story to come。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Mainly wanted to see how Victor was going to redeem himself after being a monster of a person for two books。 I don’t feel like he fully did that…well to my taste, especially since he “came out of his shell” after the third date。 Although this situation was “extreme”, I can see being pulled to someone who you know is bad for you, plus “Stockholm Syndrome” is a real thing。 The way the character of Dawn was written almost seems “child-minded” at times。 I needed her to be more mature。 Someone that w Mainly wanted to see how Victor was going to redeem himself after being a monster of a person for two books。 I don’t feel like he fully did that…well to my taste, especially since he “came out of his shell” after the third date。 Although this situation was “extreme”, I can see being pulled to someone who you know is bad for you, plus “Stockholm Syndrome” is a real thing。 The way the character of Dawn was written almost seems “child-minded” at times。 I needed her to be more mature。 Someone that went through the things she went through would seem a little more “wise”, in my opinion。 I feel like a lot of their problems could of been cleared up early in the saga, if they just had a conversation。 I mean isn’t that what they ultimately ended up doing in the final book。 Also, am I the only one that thinks Dawn’s father is maybe more of a monster than Victor? At least Victor’s actions were driven by love and betrayal。 The father?? What was his motivation? Also surprised how calmly people were okay with an agent being at a mass crime family party。 Me thinks holiday dinners are gonna be very interesting… Not bad, not great, but I was invested after the two books。 。。。more

I don’t mean physical strength, I mean the “He-abused-me-for-10-bloody-years-and-made-me-not-get-the-degree-I-worked-so-hard-for-in-the-name-of-revenge-that-I’m-undeserving-of-but-he-took-me-to focking-hello-Kitty-Land-so-I-think-it’s-time-to-hand-him-my-cookie-and-put-all that-hurt-behind-us”I’m sorry, but what in the bloody fuck? That’s it? That’s all he had to do to win you back? Mind you, you can’t get ANY of those 10 years back!! This man sexually humiliated you in front of some other man, exposing your body to this man in some show of dominance and ownership! He took away your freedom! He (despite me not liking your father) threatened your family! To top it off, he outed your mother’s addiction secret! All to hurt you! Oh yeah, and he kept you, PRISONER, for 10 BLOODY YEARS!!! On top of that, it was all unwarranted!! I don’t know about you, my lady bits would have been drier than the Sahara whenever I think of all the abuse I suffered the way Dawn did, but hey, there’s always Hello Kitty World!I don’t ask for much, just a strong heroine that isn’t afraid to stand her ground and DESPITE attraction, is able to think with her head and not let her hormones take control of her。 And don’t any of you dare blame pregnancy hormones。 She wasn’t pregnant all 10 years。It really pisses me off whenever the heroine is unable to think or do anything sensible whenever the H is involved。 It’s suddenly like they’ve forgotten how to breathe。 I mean, after the third date, she was already shagging him on his garage floor。 Can we get our h to have a little standard? 🗣🗣🗣 WE JUST WANT HER TO HAVE SOME SELF-RESPECT! Dassit! Even if she knew her endplay was to return to Victor, why not have him sweat and grovel his way back into your good graces? Because honey, it’s what SHOULD have happened。 And her “best friend” is absolute rubbish! Dump her quickly Dawn。 This may be just my friends, but if I told them some Chinese mafia kidnapped me for 10 years, snatched my degree from my reach (bribing the professor so it would be shipped to her in the mail DOES NOT get you a pass), and threatened my family, you know what my friends would do? They would tell me to get the bloody hell away from this person and try to get restraining orders against him because they are sensible and have my best interest and safety at heart。 You know what they would NOT do? Encourage me to get back with this man who caused me so much suffering I got PTSD!!!! (hence her nightmares at the beginning)To add insult to injury, when he finally gives her his reason for UNJUSTLY punishing her the way he did that entire decade (yes, I have to remind you every time how long this went in for because it was not just a blink and time passed period, but a whole bloody DECADE!!!) it’s because his nanny betrayed him when he when 3 years old。 Umm, excuse me? Your nanny betrayed you and that gives you the unmitigated right to punish Dawn?I hated the ending to this book。 Both characters were irredeemable and so toxic for each other! The best way to end this trilogy would honestly have them break up PERMANENTLY and co-parent。 That would have been a great ending to this tumultuous relationship。 If we can even call it that。 Still, Dawn is blissful in her ignorance and Victor, his monologues never reflected his remorse or love for Dawn。 And no, saying you’re sorry does not equate to remorse。 You know what does? - changed behaviour! The entirety of Victor’s monologue was consumed by him thinking up how he’ll let Dawn think he was acquiescing to him giving her choices- which she clearly didn’t have。 And how he couldn’t wait to replace her current phone with one he could monitor。 Yeah, thanks, but no thanks!Additionally, then I’m done, the introduction of all these new characters just threw me off。 It felt forced to set up the next series instalment, I believe and I just had ZERO interest in any of the other storylines。 I may have skimmed through。 Not may, I DEFINITELY skimmed through。 In closing: (TLDR)1。 Dawn- weak, pathetic heroine who probably slithers about her day due to her lack of backbone。 2。 Victor- asshole, controlling character with no redeeming qualities or proper reason for doing what he did to Dawn3。 All other characters- boring and did nothing to advance the plot or make me interested in their upcoming spin-offs。 This book sucked and evoked STRONG feelings of disgust for every last character in me。 Maybe that’s a testament to Theodora’s writing skills。 However, I highly doubt she wanted to invoke feelings of loathing for her MCs。 Who knows? I’ll give her writing another chance because I did very much enjoy the first book, hopefully, her other works don’t start out fantastic and end in a ditch! 。。。more
